Exploring AR/VR Teaching Materials!

Let's explore AR/VR-integrated teaching material! Hi there, dear reader. Welcome back! This week, we dove into a super exciting project: creating AR/VR-integrated teaching material! Sounds exciting, doesn’t it? Our task, assigned by our teacher, was to design a learning experience for high school English prep students that uses AR/VR to bring lessons to life. We were asked to introduce landmarks, a museum, and a cultural highlight of a city and then bring it all together with an engaging worksheet for the students. So, where did our journey take us? Brazil! More specifically, the dynamic and colorful city of Rio de Janeiro. Our Work Our task was to create a fun way for students to learn about Rio, dear reader. Using 360-degree YouTube videos and Google Arts & Culture, we took them on a virtual tour of the National Museum of Fine Arts, where they explored amazing exhibits. Flipping the Classroom: A Fun Way to Learn

  Experiencing the Flipped Classroom Approach  Dear reader, For this project, we tried something new: a flipped classroom approach! It’s when students learn the material at home (think videos or readings) and spend class time doing activities or practicing what they learned. This method has its advantages and disadvantages. On the bright side, it allows students to learn at their own pace and makes classroom time more interactive. However, it can also be challenging for teachers to prepare effective videos and materials. While we haven’t fully implemented it in practice, we’re assuming the role of teachers experimenting with this method—and we’re so excited to experience how it works! Using corpus as an educational tool!  Hi there, dear reader! Today I want to share our fun journey creating a worksheet and lesson plan as a group work focusing on the verbs "get" and "take." Trust me, it was quite the adventure! The Task and Our Awesome Material So, what did we do? We designed a worksheet to help preparatory school students master the tricky differences between "get" and "take." Here's the scoop: we gave them a short story filled with blanks where they had to choose the right verb. But before diving into the story, the students did some detective work using a corpus (a big collection of texts) to see how these verbs are used in real life. After filling in the blanks, they listened to the story to check their answers. Cool, right? I'll include the worksheet at the end of this post, so stay tuned dear reader! We've reached the end of another term! Hello my dear reader, today I came to say goodbye for a short time, we talked about a lot of things together, didn't we?✌ Now it's time to evaluate them and choose our favorites!💫 I mentioned that I opened this course for the technology course I took, I complete the tasks given by my teacher and share them here. Now it's time to evaluate this lesson and our work.   Artificial Intelligence Hello dear reader, I hope everything is okay! The purpose of our task this week is to examine artificial intelligence from both a student and teacher perspective. It's hard not to get excited when it comes to artificial intelligence!🥳 With your permission, I would like to tell you about the details of my homework. Our task is to chat and interview a character we choose using Magic School, an artificial intelligence tool. And I chatted with my favorite artist Vincent Van Gogh! Isn't it great?💖   AI from student perspective I used AI as a student in the first part of my work and had a very enjoyable interview. I consider Magic School's Character Chatbot as an activity that students, regardless of age, will definitely have fun with. COLLABORATIVE WRITING AND A REVIEW OF "PAPILLON"

  Let's talk collaborative writing and film review! Hi there, dear reader! I hope everything is okey because I am here with a wonderful topic today, enjoy reading! 💥The subject of our technology lesson this week was collaborative writing and the task I chose was to make a film review as a pair work using Google Docs. And I think is was the best assignment I've ever received. What do you think, dear reader? In my opinion, if there is something better than watching movies, it is reading and talking about movies.🎥 What was the film review process like?
