Podcasting for Education!

 What is this week's fantastic task?

Welcome back, my dear reader! Once again, I present to you a very current topic, which is podcasting🎉 Our instructor gave us a task and asked us to choose one of different topics to prepare a podcast. The topic I choose is "60 second idea to improve the world", which is a podcast series broadcasted on BBC. Even though I love the topic I choose, preparing it wasn't as easy as I thought😱

I'm recording a podcast for the first time!

The challenging part of the topic I choose was not finding an idea to change the world but rather trying to explain it in just 60 seconds. After all, dear reader, small yet world-changing ideas often comes our minds, don't they? But to explain this brilliant idea in just 60 seconds, what a challenge!💪 

To record my first podcast, I used Podomatic (https://www.podomatic.com/) , which has an extremely simple website and is free. In the background, I choose a copyright-free music from YouTube. Although the recording process was stressful, I find podcasting so unique and informative that I'm willing to improve myself in this field. At the end of my writing, I will share my first recording with you, dear reader. I hope you like my idea to imrove the world and please remember this my first try...😅


The place of podcasts in my future lessons:

As someone who has benefited gratly from podcasts in my own language learning journey, I would like to introduce my students to podcasting in my future classes. Wouldn't it be wonderful to encourage them to start their own podcast series as well?💖(I think, podcasting should be voluntary, so I wouldn't want to assign it as homework.)

Let's talk about something creative, shall we?🎉   Hello dear reader, welcome back! Today's topic is infographics, which we discussed in my Instructional Technologies and Material Design course. I am still unfamiliar with this term, but it has already caught my interest, and I have already made my first attempt. I will share it at the end of the text so please keep reading 😎 Our instructor gave us some terms related to ethical and legal issues in technology use and asked us to prepare an infographic on the term of our choice. At the beginning, I was a bit scared of this task, but as I started doing it, I realized it wasn't difficult at all. Hey there, dear reader, I'll walk you through the whole process, maybe you'll want to try out this teaching technique too, who knows? 💪 I think creating infographics is a great way to teach some info to the audience we're adressing.   21st Century Learning: In today's digital age, everything is about technology. Technology changes all of the sectors, including education and everything else. As a student in this digital age and someone who has just started teaching, I think I have a lot to say about education in the 21st century. In my opinion, education needs to adapt to changing times, just like every other aspect of society. Over my 15–16 years as a student, I've witnessed a significant transformation from traditional tools like books and notebooks to more modern technologies such as tablets, phones, and even artificial intelligence, which has gained widespread popularity in recent years. As a result, it's crucial to effectively integrate technology into the classroom to enhance the learning journey. What about language learning?
