CREATIVE WAY TO LEARN: INFOGRAPHIC!

Let's talk about something creative, shall we?🎉

Hello dear reader, welcome back! Today's topic is infographics, which we discussed in my Instructional Technologies and Material Design course. I am still unfamiliar with this term, but it has already caught my interest, and I have already made my first attempt. I will share it at the end of the text so please keep reading 😎

Our instructor gave us some terms related to ethical and legal issues in technology use and asked us to prepare an infographic on the term of our choice. At the beginning, I was a bit scared of this task, but as I started doing it, I realized it wasn't difficult at all. Hey there, dear reader, I'll walk you through the whole process, maybe you'll want to try out this teaching technique too, who knows? 💪

I think creating infographics is a great way to teach some info to the audience we're adressing. It is especially useful for people like me who have a strong visual memory. While I am sure all subjects would benefit, it is especially crucial in language classes to make our teaching stick. Who wouldn't want to spice up their lessons with a more creative way by decorating their infographics with images and colors personalized to the age group they are adressing?

I used "Canva" to prepare my template, it's free and offers tons of options to make template creation easier. The copyright-free images on the website made my job easier, I didn't need any extra sources. Dear reader, if you're also a future teacher like me, you should check out some infographic examples and try to create your own. I am uploading mine below as a first example, hope you like it! 🥳 Your opinions are meaning a lot, don't forget to share it...💙

See you in the next post!
